Sailing Monohulls

Sailing Monohulls: YachtCodex lists 361 models, 4.3–45.7 m long. The builders with the most are Hallberg-Rassy (53), Beneteau (22), and ICE Yachts (22). The largest in production is the wallywind 150 (45.7 m); the shallowest draft is the Beneteau First 14 SE's (0.11 m).

One hull, a keel to hold it up against the sails, and the oldest arrangement still in production. A monohull heels, which is how it tells the crew what the wind is doing, and it rights itself because the ballast under it wants to hang downward. It is the form most sailors learn on and the one most ocean races are still run in.
