Classic yacht-design ratios worked out from the builder's published figures, each shown against the bands designers read it by.
How much sail the boat carries for its weight — its power in light air.
sail area (ft²) ÷ (displacement as ft³ of seawater)^⅔
How heavy the boat is for its waterline length. Lower is lighter and quicker; higher is steadier and roomier.
displacement (long tons) ÷ (0.01 × waterline length in ft)³
Most builders publish a light displacement. The ratios were defined on a loaded boat, so every boat here reads a little lighter than a surveyor's figure would — all alike, which keeps them comparable.
What the builder publishes about how fast, how strong and how much the boat carries.
Fuel and water on one scale: a tank twice the height holds twice as much.

Design limits set by the EU Recreational Craft Directive (2013/53/EU), in significant wave height. A category covers the conditions of those below it. It is the limit the boat was designed to, not a promise that it is safe in any conditions within it — that judgement stays with the skipper.

Boutique builder of sailing and power catamarans founded in 2014 — the trailerable 30 SportCat, the hybrid 54 E-Plus and the solar-equipped Sixty Solar Sail and Sixty Solar Power, with the 40 PowerCat and 52 Exploration on order, marketed worldwide under its own name.
Xquisite Yachts says it was established in 2014 with the purpose of launching a new brand of sailing and power catamarans: the ultimate luxury yacht for cruisers, in which safety and innovative design blend, for adventurers who want to explore the oceans without giving up a comfortable life. Its yachts are built by a team of highly experienced catamaran builders and marketed globally and exclusively under the Xquisite brand. Every boat was meant for comfort and easy sail handling — two headsails, electric winches and davits — with a generator, air-conditioning, watermaker, washing machine and digital switching as standard, light construction in high-density foam core and vacuum-infused epoxy to CE category A, and twin 80 HP Yanmar engines. An in-house design team offers both standard and fully custom versions, with three interior finishes at no extra cost. Calling itself a boutique boatyard, Xquisite builds only a limited number of yachts each year; buyers can take a finished boat from the boat shows — Miami, Annapolis and the International Multihull Boat Show in France — or order one, and its charter division lets them try a boat before they buy.
