Classic yacht-design ratios worked out from the builder's published figures, each shown against the bands designers read it by.
How much sail the boat carries for its weight — its power in light air.
sail area (ft²) ÷ (displacement as ft³ of seawater)^⅔
How heavy the boat is for its waterline length. Lower is lighter and quicker; higher is steadier and roomier.
displacement (long tons) ÷ (0.01 × waterline length in ft)³
Most builders publish a light displacement. The ratios were defined on a loaded boat, so every boat here reads a little lighter than a surveyor's figure would — all alike, which keeps them comparable.
A figure marked with a quote mark was read from the builder's page. Open it for the exact line, the page and the date.

American-born builder of high-performance cruising catamarans, founded in 2002 and now built in La Grande-Motte, France, under Grand Large Yachting ownership since 2016.
Gunboat has applied Grand Prix race boat technology to the world cruising catamaran since 2002, an American brand that set out to give a cruising multihull the speed, comfort and style of a racing one. Since 2016 it has been owned by Grand Large Yachting, and its factory headquarters is at La Grande-Motte in France, where the boats are built with the discipline of a race programme -- on weight, to the build time, to CE ISO Category A Ocean standards. Naval architecture comes from VPLP, and the yard's own design and engineering office runs the whole design loop; what it builds are light, high-tech, semi-custom performance cruising multihulls.
