Brand Overview
Gulf Craft's long-range explorer brand from the United Arab Emirates — four yachts from the 20-metre Nomad 65 to the 30-metre, tri-deck Nomad 101, built at Umm Al Quwain for owners who want to take the helm and head for remote anchorages.

What this builder is
Nomad Yachts is one of four brands of Gulf Craft, the Umm Al Quwain builder that says it has more than 40 years of yacht-building experience in the Gulf; the group sells it alongside Majesty (superyachts and flybridges), Oryx (sports boats) and SilverCat (power catamarans), each from its own site. The yard pitches Nomad as a 'Life of Adventure': explorer-style yachts with the storage and range to carry fishing, dive, bike and surf gear to wild coasts, and says it can build a Nomad around an owner's passions. The current fleet is the Nomad 65, 70, 75 and 101; the pages quote almost 1,900 nautical miles of range for the 65, 2,000 for the 70, 2,300 at 12 knots for the 75 and more than 3,000 for the 101, which also reaches 23 knots. Each model page prints one table — length, beam, draft, accommodation, displacement 'approx.', fuel, fresh, grey and black water, generators and power. In 2026 the yard launched a new Nomad 101 hull and the 2027 Nomad 70, both with interiors by the Dutch studio Phathom using flax, hemp, bamboo and recycled materials. Sales run from Mina Rashid in Dubai.
Who sails them
Nomad buyers are owners who want to drive their own yacht — families and groups of friends heading for remote anchorages in the Gulf, Oman, the Indian Ocean, Indonesia or Australia — and who value range, stability and room for toys and gear over what the yard calls a floating villa that goes from busy anchorage to anchorage.
Signature models
The 30-metre, tri-deck Nomad 101 is the fleet's flagship, with more than 3,000 nautical miles of range and a top speed of 23 knots; the Nomad 75, offered with an open flybridge or an enclosed upper deck, and the Nomad 70, which the yard calls a pocket adventure yacht, carry the idea down in size.
Strengths
The yard points to long range for the size (almost 1,900 to more than 3,000 nautical miles), generous interior volume and storage, open or enclosed upper decks, large outdoor platforms for remote anchorages, a builder with four decades in the Gulf and its own service yards in Ajman and the Maldives, and new hulls with sustainable interiors by Phathom Studio.
Considerations
The tables print no speeds, CE category, heads, designers or hull material — speed and range come from each page's text, and the 101's range is only 'more than 3,000' miles; the 101 lists its accommodation as 10 guests and 5 crew (its text gives five cabins); the 70 prints only kW for its MAN engines and five guest staterooms where the 2027 model's launch news describes four; and the Nomad 65's gallery has no exterior photograph.

History
Nomad is built by Gulf Craft, which says it has more than 40 years of yacht-building experience in the Gulf and a loyal network of customers, employees and partners; the group presents Nomad beside Majesty, Oryx and SilverCat. The brand's idea, in its own words, is a 'Life of Adventure': yachts built for owners who want to fish, dive, bike or kite-surf far from anyone, off the wild coast of Australia, in Oman's Musandam Peninsula or across the islands of the Indian Ocean. In February 2026 a Nomad 75 was handed over to a family as a 25th wedding-anniversary gift -- their first boat, with three generations aboard for the delivery. That July the 2027 Nomad 70 left the shed with a new exterior profile and interiors by the Dutch studio Phathom, and in October another Nomad 101 touched the water at Umm Al Quwain with an updated design by Phathom using flax, hemp, bamboo, recycled fishing-net carpets and reclaimed wood.
