About Wajer Yachts

Premium production

Dutch family builder of luxury dayboats and weekenders from Friesland — nine Volvo Penta IPS models from the 11.8-metre Wajer 38 to the 23.5-metre Wajer 77, designed, built, sold and serviced in-house by more than 350 people, with owner hubs from Amsterdam to Miami.

Wajer describes itself as a thirty-year voyage: over two generations it went from a local builder of launches to a name known across yachting. The Captain's Launch is the boat it says started it all, followed by the Wajer 34 and then the larger Wajer 37. The yards are in Friesland, in the northern Netherlands, which the company calls the heartland of Dutch boatbuilding -- the Wajer Boathouse and Wajer Yachts at Heeg, and Wajer Super Yachts at Lemmer. More than 350 people design, build, sell and service the boats, all of it in-house, and the hulls are built by hand by specialists in woodwork, epoxy construction, systems and design. The design aim is stated plainly: keep it relentlessly simple, and hide whatever would interrupt the line.
