About Zeelander Yachts

Semi-custom

Dutch boutique builder of curved, whisper-quiet sports cruisers — the Zeelander 5, 6, 7 and 8 (48 to 79 feet) — made to order at Groot-Ammers since the company opened in Zeeland in 2002.

Zeelander's journey started in 2002, when founder Sietse Koopmans set out to find the perfect day boat -- refined, free of noise and vibration -- and, disappointed by what the market offered, spent five years making that vision real: everything curved, silent, with an exceptionally comfortable ride. The yard opened its doors in Zeeland, the Netherlands, in 2002, and the Zeelander Z44 was born in 2008, launched at the Monaco Yacht Show. The Z68 followed in 2014 and the Z55 in 2015, the Zeelander 7 in 2019, the facilities were expanded in 2022, and the Zeelander 5 and Zeelander 8 were launched in 2023 and 2024.
